Using a launderette for the first time

I've never used a launderette before. What do I do?
Come in and ask at the counter. Staff are on site from 7am and will walk you through how to use the machines. The basic steps are: load the machine, add detergent (we sell it at the counter), select your cycle, pay, and come back when the wash is done. A standard wash takes around 40 minutes.
Do I need to bring my own washing powder?
No. We sell detergent and fabric softener at the counter. You can also bring your own if you prefer a specific brand or have allergies.
How long does it take?
A standard wash cycle takes around 40 minutes. A tumble dryer cycle is 8–10 minutes per coin. Most people allow 90 minutes for a full wash and dry. You can wait in the launderette or leave and come back — we have seating and free WiFi if you prefer to stay.

How much does it cost to use the launderette?

Do you accept card payment?

How much does a service wash cost?

Services

What is a service wash?
A service wash means you drop off your laundry and we handle everything. We wash, dry, and fold it, and you collect it clean. Drop off before 10am for same-day collection before 5pm. See our service wash page for full details.
Can you wash my duvet?
Yes. We have 14kg and 20kg machines for duvets, pillows, and large bedding. A double duvet needs the 14kg machine (£18). A king-size or super-king needs the 20kg machine (£24–£28). See our duvet cleaning page.
Do you do dry cleaning?
Yes. Drop suits, dresses, and dry-clean-only items at the counter. Most items are ready within 48 hours. Leather and suede take 5–7 days. See our dry cleaning page.
